1Team Capital secures long-term succession solution for Trautwein

• 1Team Capital has invested in Trautwein GmbH and will support the company as part of a long- term succession plan.
• The Grenz family remains a shareholder and will continue to actively manage the company following the transaction.
• The next growth phase will be jointly driven, with a focus on further internationalisation and the development of new markets.

Emmendingen, 14 January 2026 – 1Team Capital, an independent investment company focusing on entrepreneurial succession solutions for medium-sized businesses, has acquired Trautwein GmbH from its previous owners Alexandra and Adrian Grenz.

Founded in 1928, Trautwein is a manufacturer of high-quality hydrotherapy, rehabilitation and wellness systems “Made in Germany”. For decades, the company has supplied clinics, rehabilitation centres, nursing homes, hotels and spas worldwide. As part of the succession plan, the current shareholders will retain a stake in the company. Mr. and Mrs. Grenz will continue to manage operations together following the transaction.
