Partuflex, the birthing tub, was developed in collaboration with experienced midwives from a birthing center and a gynecologist.
The needs of both the expectant mother and the midwife were taken into account in the design.
There is a lot of freedom of movement for the birthing woman and the insertable seat additionally offers her the possibility to find/assume a position that is comfortable for her.
The sitting and lying options are designed in such a way that any complications, such as vena cava syndrome, can be avoided.
The mother-to-be can maintain very good contact with her partner and/or midwife throughout the entire time.
The partner can even support the woman giving birth directly in the bath at any time.
